How the tea tastes

Misty Clouds

Our Misty Clouds takes you on a journey through the mist-shrouded mountains of Yunnan. As an ideal introduction to the world of Oolong teas, it enchants with a pronounced muscatel flavour, intertwined with the sweetness of honey.

The perfect brew, made easy

The preparation

Give the precious tea leaves plenty of space to expand fully. Use a large tea strainer or brew the leaves in a teapot, then strain them into a serving pot. We recommend multiple infusions for your Oolong to let it reveal its complex flavors layer by layer.

The processing of the tea

The delicate leaves undergo an extended process. They are shaken in bamboo tumblers, a traditional technique that gently bruises the edges and promotes high oxidation. Precise rolling and shaping complete the crafting of this specialty Oolong.

The origin of the tea

Nestled in the landscapes of Yunnan, the tea gardens lie between 800 and 2000 metres above sea level. The marked temperature differences between day and night create ideal conditions for cultivating this remarkable Oolong. Harvested in the serene months of May and June, our Misty Clouds captures not only the surrounding mists but also the spirit of one of the world's most storied tea regions.
